Summer Sounds in Horsham Park
Visit Horsham Park on Sundays between 5 May to 1 September 2019 and enjoy free bandstand concerts on the Park Podium every afternoon at 2.30pm – except during the Horsham Garden Music Festival in July when special concerts will take place in the Human Nature Garden within the Park. Today’s band is Mid Sussex Brass Band who are a traditional Brass Band and perform throughout Sussex and sometimes further afield. The band was formed in 1986 by the amalgamation of the Haywards Heath Town and Burgess Hill Brass Bands’ when it was renamed Mid Sussex Brass Band and the Youth Band was named as Mid Sussex Youth Brass Band.
The band currently have 21 members in their Youth/Training Band and about 24 in their senior band. They rehearse each Thursday evening throughout the year in Manor Field Primary School, Burgess Hill West Sussex. Youth Band 7.00pm-8.00pm and senior band 8.00pm-10.00pm.

Whilst in the Park why not make a day of it, discover the dragon sculpture in the centre of the maze, visit the wildlife around the pond and enjoy some light refreshments, cooked meals or ice creams from the Conservatory Cafe.
